Fremont Nights, 24"x30", Oil by Patrick Howe

In this two part series, Seattle artist Patrick Howe shows you how to paint scenes full of light. Patrick works in both oils and watercolor.  In this episode he looks at an evening cityscape in oils.  Patrick begins this vibrant street scene by explaining the
need for an outline drawing with an established focal point as a framework to work from.

Follow Patrick in Part 2 as he paints the darker tonal areas before adding the lights and colorful details to this wonderful street scene alight with the glow of night!
