Peace Rose in Watercolor
In this lesson, you will learn how to paint a light-colored rose of two colors; pink and yellow. You will learn which colors make warm and cool shadows, as well as which colors will deepen the values. Dawn McLleod Heim has provided step by steps instructions and a line drawing for this rose.
Golden Rose Demo by Gary Jenkins
Here is a 3-part video from one of my favorite television artist/instructors...Gary Jenkins. In his unique style, he shows us how to paint a delicate Golden Rose (oils). Sorry to say, the very beginning of this demonstration is missing so it starts with painting the flower on an existing background. Painting in the background may not be shown, but it's just a matter of loosely scumbling in some color for an interesting texture along with a few leaves. Go ahead! Give it a try! ;-)
